Hey there, I'm Kat!

I’m so glad you found me in this corner of the internet. As a tech solutions architect, I help you launch services/ products by building the foundational structure behind-the-scenes that make it function seamlessly. I take a human-centered approach to tech & automation that makes systems truly functional for teams and customers.

Before the Biz

Growing up I was always interested in tech, and although I didn’t know I’d run a business, I knew I’d work in this industry.

In High School, I was the first student in our district to complete the Computer Science program. I won 5th place in a CS problem solving competition with the Future Business Leaders of America, hosted a Computer Science Day for Kindergarten-6th grade students, and taught Cybersecurity for a semester to the 4th-6th grade students.

In college, I studied computer science with a focus on website development. However, I found it hard to stick to my path.

I Carried the Weight of Everything

How I got into an online business…

At the beginning of my junior year of college, my husband got military orders to move us over 1,000 miles away from our family. We had to rush there, so I had to take a crappy sales job in retail. After only a couple of months in this new state/ position/ lifestyle, we found out I was pregnant with our first daughter.

I tried so hard to hold the weight of everything on my shoulders, but it drained me.

One day, my husband packed my lunch and left a sticky note that said

“It’s okay to be on autopilot because I’m your copilot.”

That reminder broke me (in the best way possible). I realized I didn’t have to navigate everything alone. He was there to support me.

Thankfully, I met some more incredibly supportive people here who talked about freelancing/ working in the online space. So, I quit and became a Virtual Assistant (which was just the foot in the door of Narnia basically).

Now, I provide the same backbone-style support to other people who are drowning in their online businesses. It’s so fulfilling to finally work in this industry, and know that my work is making a difference for business founders.

In 2025, I made a commitment to work platform agnostic, meaning I’m not affiliated with any tech company. My goal is to help people stop feeling overwhelmed so they can grow past the barriers that once stood in their way.

I’ve got the future of Kopilot Kat mapped out. I want to build:

A business known for crafting the most intuitive & individualized solutions

Systems (maybe a tool of my own) that make peoples’ business easier to operate and scale

Accessible ways for founders to get support before burning out

A small, but intentional team of people who share the same empathy & obsession with customization as me

More than anything, I want to lift up the people who care so deeply about their work that they’re drowning in it.
